I’m a christian and I’m trying to prove to my boyfriend that christians and muslims are very different. I would like to have short facts between both religions please.
Unlike Christians, muslims do not believe in either the sonship or divinity of Jesus.We believe God has no human form. We don’t accept that the crucifixion happened, or that he died. Jesus was only a prophet of God. We don’t believe in original sin or baptism-Adam and Eve were forgiven. We don’t believe in the Sabbath. Salvation according to Islam is through faith in Allah, and then deeds.

Christians believe in the divine nature of Jesus as the "Son of God", believe Jesus died upon the cross and was resurrected as the Savior of humanity.
Muslims believe that Jesus was a religious prophet sent by God as the expected Jewish Messiah, but he was purely mortal born of a Virgin Birth. Muslims believe ascribing divinity to anyone or anything other than God is blasphemous. Muslims also believe that Jesus was bodily resurrected to Heaven while another man was crucified in Jesus’s place.

There are plenty. The main one being Muslims worship God and Christians worship Jesus (pbuh)….

@Ash – Muslims do not believe the Bible is fake but that it is one of Three of Gods books, those being The Torah, The Bible and The Quran.
We do believe the Bible has been altered and amended many times to suit kings and clergy though. Who can deny it has been changed?

They are 100% DIFFERENT.
The truth is that JESUS is God. But Islam rejects this truth, therefore Islam obviously has a different and fake "god" that cannot save anyone. Islam leads to eternal torment in hell. Islam rejects the truth that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and Jesus rose from the dead. Islam rejects the truth that only the BIBLE is the Word of God (Islam has their false "koran" instead).
So they’re nothing alike.
Islam cannot save.
The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much!
The truth about Jesus is that the ONLY way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what! Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

They both believe in the same God the father part, muslims however think Jesus was just a prophet of God. They believe the QUARAN,personally I think it’s b.s written by a gross man named mohammed with over 100 wives, but…… yea.

Christian Religion developed in Mediteranian weather and Muslim is developed in Desert region. According to that their living styles.

There is a huge difference between Christians and Muslims with respect to their beliefs.
Christians follow Holy Bible and believe that Koran is fake.
Muslims follow Koran and believe that Bible is fake.
Christians believe that by having faith in Jesus Christ, one can get into heaven and good deeds only show our gratitude to Jesus.
Muslims believe that only good deeds can lead us to heaven.
Christians believe in prophets of Holy Bible only.
Muslims believe in Muhammad as last prophet.
Christians believe that Islam (religion of muslims) is fake.
Muslims believe that Christians have totally changed the teachings of Jesus.
Christians believe that Jesus is God.
Muslims believe that Jesus was a human and a prophet.
Christians believe that Jesus died on cross, resurrected and was ascended to heaven and is sitting with His Father.
Muslims believe that Jesus didn’t die on cross and was ascended to heaven and will come back soon, and will die as natural death.
Christians believe that Jesus will come on Judgment day and will Judge whole world.
Muslims believe that Jesus will come before Judgment day and will embrace Islam (religion of muslims), will marry and will die as natural death.
Lots of differences are there, but I have given only few of them to prove that both are totally different to each other.

you are right there are a whole lot of differences.
from a social stand point many muslims have a different world view on things due to the way they are raised and encouraged to do certain things.
Muslims have a lot more rituals in their daily lives. (washing before prayers is a good example. it has to be done a ceratin way and a certain number of times)
Muslims have more food restrictions.
Muslims have the concept of unholy or foul animals like pigs and dogs.
Muslims have restricitions on owning dogs because they make your home unholy many prefer not to keep dogs at home.
Muslims have restritions on women’s clothing and what shows and what shouldn’t.
Muslims believe some part of hell is being underground (under the surface of the earth) and that the bad souls or underworld creatures (GINI )(Afreet) can communicate and marry humans.
Muslims regard men twice the worth of a woman. a male inherits twice as a female and is allowed to marry four women.
women are only allowed to marry one man at a time.
if a man and a women got married and divorced each other more than 3 times each have to marry a different partner even for a short preiod of time if they want to marry each other again.
part of the muslim man’s duty is to disipline his wife and the wife is not required to do that. she’s
