Is this mainly just the view of Christians, or do Jews and muslims also view this as happening?
The monotheists usually don’t attempt to predict the future.
The idea that the book of Revelation in the bible tells about the real end is a minority view among Christians, and they don’t agree on the details very much.
It’s not mainly the view of any religions I know of.

it looks like the countries around israel are gearing up now for another war against israel and zechariah 12 says they are going to keep on at it till they destroy themselves by causing Messiah to return and fight for the jews-joel 3

All I know is most of the Wiccans and Pagans of the world will be sitting back laughing. Because we embrace nature, even her destructive side. I know that in my 28 years I have had a good life, and when my time comes I will go with a smile. I have no fear…
So many belief systems are based around fear, the fear fuels the fire. I think all organized religions are fighting with other organized religions, and are foolishly ignoring the "minor" beliefs because they don’t think we pose a threat, being so unorganized, when in reality our numbers are great…
