Brett, as a …
Brett, as a Christian, I can appreciate most of what you are saying here. It’s a good challenge to us all to show concern over our own hypocrisies and contrafictions. Although I don’t agree with your conclusion, I share much of your sentiments.

It just shows that …
It just shows that double-think wasn’t something Orwell made up. He just gave it a name. People have long been able to hold two distinctly apposing views and believe them both completely. This pen is red. This pen is blue. They’re not both, they’re only one, but depending on the arguement, they’ll believe one or the other.

I agree with most …
I agree with most you say Brett, but it is jews, muslims and christians that openly talk out about things that is wrong in their religions and they stand up against their own preachers when they think they have stepped over the line, but we got a media problem we never see this ppl in the media for they arent shocking enough, for they belive and act as the mainsteam would think.
It is easier better enterteinment to show Pastor Phelps and Pastor Andersson or some rabid muslim iman.

When it comes to …
When it comes to the problems that revolve around religion, the only thing we can do is talk about. There are plenty of theists who are willing to discuss these issues, but many of them likes to plug their ears and be all like “LA LA LA LA LA, I AM NOT LISTENING!”

I love your …
I love your emotional videos like this one, Brett. I think that most christians, muslims, judaists, etc. are, in some way, prepared for the purely rational arguments presented by non-believers. Many theists are “mesmerized” by the passion exhibited by their ministers on Sundays/Saturdays and are convinced that such passion equals truth. It’s hard for an atheist to be passionate because they’re not proposing a “belief”. But, passion is required for many. Thank you for doing what you do.

I actually like the Westboro Baptist Church. They, like the Faithful Word Baptist Church (4G and Kassiedill’s haunt), represent those true Christians: violent; bigoted; moronic douchebags.

cont. from baptist to catholic. everything was fine when we first got to the church, theyd ask if we had ever attended a church or w.e. and when we said yes, we went to….. and we named the church we got the cold shoulder and ppl looked down their noses at us as if they were oh so right. If you were to go to a church would you expect to be treated like that if you were a christian? no, probably not.
