I got a pamphlet saying only Islam can truly liberate a woman. Is it true?
think about it. rights? they must cover them selfs. wear black in the heat. not vote. not drive, not speak to other men.
the whole religon is based on fear, control and guilt.
they say they love? but hate all who r not with them. and many women from the west have maried and got to live in there country. only to loss there childern, rights, or there lives.

You must have hit your head somewhere. Burn that pamphlet and type ‘Equality Now’ in your favourite search engine and click the first search result you see to get the truth.

we can’t blame on any other religion for any merit or behaviour of a socitey. You Know that like islam,judisim and christenality were also true religions from God , but people made them unclear.
I can’t belive that a religion can taught womens or mens for misdeeds.it’s there demounr , not the teaching of religion.
As well as your question is concern yes in todays’ world islam is the only religion whcih gave women a status and dignity.
Do you think that Jesus or Moses can teach the people for those works that are practcing in west today.

i think am free not what people think about muslim girls/women that they do have the right to say or do anything … that’s not right
women can live free in a muslim country
we work with men ,, we talk to men ,, we have the right to do everything like men…. islam doesnt forbid that unless the work is really for men like being a truck driver or carrying heavy things that doesnt suit us as women….we learn like men .. all my teachers are foreigners and most of them are males from the us , canada, australia , asia, uk etc…we talk to them ..
and what is wrong for women i think is wrong in all religions like having s**..talking dirty…if u think about religions ,, its all the same beleiving in god and stay away from what is wrong…i dont think that muslims are covered that means we cant go anywhere and stay home and serve our husband like slaves…thats what they think about us…..they heard stories about muslim men hit their wives … all people do!! not only muslims
muslim women dont have roght because men can be married to 4 women….!! but they dnt know that men should be fair in everything (love, money, sex, everything … ) .. sleeping with them in different rooms .. same nights .. everything the same or god (allah) would punish them ..
i respect all religions and i want to raise my children to respect other religions too whatever they believe in…

It sounds like they’re making claims in order to convert you. It is possible to be a liberated Muslim woman, but you can also be a liberated Christian woman, Jewish woman, Hindu woman, or atheist woman.

No, but it is possible for Islamic women to feel just as free as any other. It depends on the type of Islam and how strictly it is practiced and how one interprets the scriptures. The same is true for any religion. Islam as well as other religious beliefs do hold women back at times, but we have to get beyond this point of thinking every Islamic woman is an oppressed sex slave.

Ah yes, in some places they are so liberated that they will now have to wear burkhas with only one eye hole so that men can't be caught up in lust by staring at their two lovely eyes.
Does that sound like freedom to you? Me either.
Know what I think? If the men making these laws are such animals that they want to rape a woman because they can see her eyeballs, then they should be the ones to have their eyes veiled. Or maybe they should be castrated so they will no longer be a danger to the women around them. Either way, punishing the women and taking away all their rights because the men can't control themselves is sick.

LOL. Yeah, right. Islamic countries are the only countries that in this day and age still stone women to death and in Saudi Arabia women cannot go outside their house without a male relative. That male relative can even be a boy of 10 years of age! They’ve demean to the point that women who as adults need the company of a child.
I hate Islam and dislike Muslims. I don’t care if it’s politically incorrect to say this but I do, it’s my feelings and the truth.
