Question by benM: How come American conservatives share the president of Iran’s hatred of liberal secular professors?
I always hear cons complaining about professors in America.
Turns out, the conservatives in Iran do the same.

Sure. Except for a minority of anti-abortion and anti-government bombers, conservatives do not fly airplanes into buildings.
That does not mean there are no similiarties.
Do liberals have gulags in America? No. That doesn’t stop conservatives from labeling liberals as communists.

The similarity is that American and Iranian conservaties share a hatred of secular liberal professors. That is because they are both right-wing.
If you want things to be EXACTLY the same then the Iranian conservatives would have to be christians also.

You are all over the place. First you say it was conservatives who came up with seperation of church and state. It was not. It was liberals. Conservatives stayed loyal to the crown.
And then you make statements against keeping church and state seperate. You want th 10 commandments in the courts and think America is a christian nation.

Key word is purge. We don’t do that here. People might gripe about it,but in no way are they like the Iranian fundementalists.
